IN LOVING MEMORY OF
John "Jack"
Cleveland Rogers
April 19, 1946 – March 9, 2025
John Cleveland Rogers (Jack), 78, of Florence South Carolina and Rising Sun, Indiana, returned home in the hands of the Lord on March 9th, 2025. John, in his free time, loved to bowl with friends and family, watch NASCAR, travel, and go camping. He loved to watch his son, grandson, and granddaughter bowl every chance that he got and cheer them on. Anyone who knew John knew he was great man, dad, and Poppie.
He served in the United States National Guard where he protected his country any chance he got. He then proceeded to work in the heating and air industry for over twenty years as well as the auto industry for over twenty years.
John is survived by his son Johnny (Rhonda) Rogers, grandson Brandon (Megan) Hurst, and granddaughter Brianna Rogers; great-grandchildren, Bentley, Steven, and Rayden; and his brothers Travis (Gean) Rogers and Buddy (Marie) Rogers. John joins his beloved parents, Grover and Rosie Rogers, loving wife Barbara Rogers, and little sister Karen Rogers in heaven.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 15, 2025, in the Florence Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in John's name to a charity of your choice.
