John Borkan, age 90 of Jasper, Georgia passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at home.  He was born April 10, 1932 to Sophie Borkan in Cape May, New Jersey.

John is survived by his daughter, Bonnie Thompson and Frank Mack of Jasper; son Michael Borkan of Glen Gardner, NJ; six grandchildren, Crystal, Amber, Bryan, Ed, Jennifer, and Nichole; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy and daughter, Robin Rauf.

A graveside service directed by Cain Calcutt Funeral Home will be held at 3:30 PM on Monday, June 13, 2022, at Florence Memorial Gardens; 3320 South Cashua Drive; Florence SC.  Visitation will be from 1:00 until 3:00 PM on Monday, June 13, 2022, at the funeral home.
