Joel Ryan Jordan, 27, of Florence, SC, passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023.  He was born in Lancaster, SC, the son of Marianne Taylor (Brad Enzor) and William Elliott Jordan.  He is predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Brenda Moore and Richard Taylor; his paternal great-grandfather, Max Rutledge; and an uncle, Michael Jordan.

Joel was a Class of 2015 graduate of West Florence High School, where he was active in the marching band.  He worked at Mickey Finn's and was an avid gamer.  He loved riding his motorcycle, shooting his guns and he was always happy, easy going and enjoyed being a smart-aleck.

Surviving is his mother, Marianne Taylor (Brad Enzor); his father, William Elliott Jordan; sister, Brittany Montgomery (Mitchell); two brothers, Brantson Jordan and Cameron Jordan; paternal grandparents, Beth Smith and Mickey Jordan (Pansy); paternal great-grandmother, Mary Ellen Rutledge; nephew, Joby Montgomery; three uncles, Larry Smith, Jr., Matthew Hunter and Brandon Hunter (Emily); two aunts, Mandi Macomber (Tony) and Jennifer Kelly (Will Robinson); and a number of cousins, extended family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM on Sunday, October 22, 2023 in the Cain Calcutt Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 4:00 PM at the funeral home just prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Shriner's Hospital or the ALS Foundation.
