A funeral service for Joanne P. Waltz, widow of Harold L. Waltz, will be at 11:00AM Saturday, July 5, 2008, in Cain Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Quinn Hooks officiating. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6:00-8:00 at the funeral home. Mrs. Waltz, 71, died Wednesday, July 2, 2008, in a local hospital. She was born June 21, 1937, in Florence County, to the late Sanders and Cecil Collins Poston. Surviving are: sons, Gus Waltz and Olin Waltz, of Florence; daughters, Mary Culberth of Spartanburg, Annie Waltz of Bishopville and Dorothy Meadows of Charleston; grandchildren, Bo and John Culbreth; brother, Aubrey (Doris) M. Poston, Sr. of Florence.
