Mrs. Joan Adair Steinmetz, 78, died Saurday May 1, 2010, in a local healthcare facility after an extended illness. At her request there will be no services. Mrs. Steinmetz was born October 7, 1931, in Lancaster, PA, to the late Edward G. and Mary Schaefer Meier. She was also predeceased by her husband, Paul Peter Steinmetz and a daughter, Heather Steinmetz. She was a member of Pisgah United Methodist Church. Survivors include: daughters, Lynne H. (Larry) Turner, and Cindy J. (Jeff) Moyer; sons, Lori P. (Susan) Steinmetz, and Duane R. Steinmetz; 7 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
