Jimmy Lawrence Jenkins, Jr., 49, of Florence, SC, passed away on Monday, November 30, 2020.  He was born in Florence, the son of Regina Cantley Jenkins and the late Jimmy L. Jenkins.  He graduated from South Florence High School and attended Florence Darlington Tech.  He was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church and worked for Pepsi of Florence and Dawkins Concrete.  Lawrence loved Jesus and Alabama football and he never met a stranger.

Surviving in addition to his mother is a daughter Katie Thompson and her mother, his former wife and special friend, Michelle Thompson Jenkins; sister, Candace J. Rast (David); nephew, Phillip Rast; niece, Gracelyn Rast; great-grandmother, Rose Mobley of Pensacola, FL; and many special aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A funeral service, directed by Cain Calcutt Funeral Home, will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 3, 2020, at First Free Will Baptist Church.  A private burial will take place following the service.  You may pay your respects to Mr. Jenkins one hour prior to the service at the church.

Memorials may be made to First Free Will Baptist Church or to Cain Calcutt Funeral Home to assist the family with the funeral arrangements.
