Jessie Rose Collins Poston, 81, of Charlotte, NC passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2025.

Rose was born in Marion County, SC a daughter of the late Frank Collins and Betty McClelland Collins.  She was an amazing momma, sister, and Ganny.  She was an active member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church in Charlotte, NC where she enjoyed her church family, senior group luncheons and outings.  She was loved by All.  We miss you already.  Rest in peace.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Norton Junior Johnson and James Poston; son, Charles Joseph Johnson; and granddaughter, Amanda Bakker Sims.

Surviving are her daughters, Jackie (Michael) Naramore of Mooresville, NC and Carolyn (Mitchell) Huggins of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Jessica Fitzpatrick, Matthew Bakker, James "Joey" Bakker, Michael Naramore, and Erin Naramore; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Johnson and Frankie Godbolt; and her puppy, Pandi (the love of her life).
