Jesse "Bo" Albert Jackson, II, 75, passed away on Friday, November 11, 2016, at McLeod Regional Medical Center. Born in Florence, SC, he was a son of the late Rufus Lester Jackson and Mary Louise Taylor Jackson. He is also predeceased by his grandmother, Sarah Elizabeth Taylor; sister, Mary "Patsy" Louise Galloway; and brother, Millard "Skeet" Jackson. Bo served his country in the US Marine Corps and was a talented artist. He was a jack of all trades having worked in home remodeling for many years. Bo is survived by a son, Jason Anthony Close Jackson of Florence; daughters, Kristyn Elizabeth Close Jackson of Woburn, MA, and Dorothea Marie Anderson of Richwood, WV; brother-in-law, Benjamin "Ben" C. Galloway; niece, Angie Angelia Galloway Buie of Florence; nephews, Benjamin "Bennie" C. Galloway, Jr and his wife Janice Turner Galloway of Florence and Gary Lewis Galloway and his wife Renee Wiggins Galloway of Walhalla; former spouses, Anna Mary Martin of Richwood WV and Dedra Ann Close Jackson of Woburn, MA; and many grandchildren and other nieces and nephews. A Private Inurnment service will take place at the Florence National Cemetery Columbarium. Cain Calcutt-Stephens is assisting the family.
