Jerry Wayne Weatherford, 63, of Florence, SC, passed away on Friday, July 29, 2016, at the McLeod Hospice House. He was born in Florence, a son of Richard Weatherford and the late Mary Elizabeth Boatwright Weatherford. He is also predeceased by a son, Jerry Wayne Hall, two brothers, Samuel Weatherford and Ricky Weatherford, and a sister, Dianne Roberts. Jerry was a self-employed carpenter and loved helping others. He loved hunting and fishing. He is survived by two sons, Jeremy (Rachel) Britt of Darlington and Josh (Britney) Weatherford of Timmonsville; daughter, Amy Lynn Weatherford of Florence; two sisters, Sandra Godwin and Michelle Gregory, both of Florence; several grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. A memorial service directed by the family will be held at 5:00 PM on Sunday, July 31, 2016, at First Love Worship Center, 1955 Una Road, Lamar, SC 29069.
