Jerome George Ramlal, 72, of Florence, S.C., died Saturday, September 29, 2012 at McLeod Regional Medical Center. He was born in Jamaica, West Indies, the son of the late Isaac and Mariam Knight Ramlal. He moved to Danbury, CT at the age of 26 and to Florence, SC five years ago. He is survived by his wife, Eda Barnes Ramlal of Florence, S.C.; two sons, Kirk Ramlal (Daisy) of Florence, S.C.; Paul Ramlal of Chandler, Arizona; four daughters, Fay McField (Ted) of Madisonville, Louisiana; Sandra Ragsdale of Palm Coast, Florida; Caroline Brevard (Lance) of New Milford, CT; Sharon Hunt (Lynch) of Lawrenceville, New Jersey; one sister, Shirley Bowen (Pedro) of Silver Springs, MD; 15 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and special friends. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. at Family Worship Center in Florence, S.C. Burial will follow in Florence Memorial Gardens directed by Cain Funeral Home.
