Jeremy Edward Miles, 51, of Florence, SC, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2023.  He was born in Iowa Falls, IA, a son of Homer and Rosemary Whitmore Miles.  Jeremy was a computer technician as well as a published author of 5 poetry books. He held BAs in Philosophy and Psychology; Masters in Cybersecurity and Masters in Creative Writing ad Poetry.  Jeremy was a member of the local Florence band, "Jeremy and the Bliss'ters".

Surviving are his parents; brother, Jason Legran Miles (Sheila); sister, Paula Marie Burlison (Ryan); two nieces, Julia Miles and Brynn Burlison; three nephews, Eric Carpenter, Brandon Miles and Dane Burlison; and his fiancée, Michele Caporaso; daughter, Chelsea Kean; son, Patrick Shirah; niece, Elizabeth Caporaso; great-nieces, Miley Port and Margret Port.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date.  Cain Calcutt Funeral Home is honored to serve the Miles family.
