Janet Holloman Best, 59, of Nichols, SC, passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2017, at McLeod Hospital. She was born in Florence, SC, the daughter of Marvin Ed Holloman and the late Evelyn Louise Springs Streett. She was a lifelong worker in the restaurant industry and was an avid horse rider. She loved, and was loved by, her family and friends. Janet is survived, in addition to her father, by her children, Benjamin Clyde Galloway, III (Michelle) of Florence, Brandi Nicole Graham (Christopher) of Loris and Bridget Michelle Fowler (Hunter) of Loris; four grandchildren, Matthew Clayton Graham, Taylor Renee Galloway, Emma Rai Galloway and Rebekah Lane Galloway; a brother, Mike Holloman of Florence; and her fiancé, Kevin Stroud of Nichols. A funeral service will be at 3:00 PM on Monday, June 19, 2017, in the Chapel of Cain Calcutt-Stephens Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for an hour prior to the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cain Calcutt-Stephens Funeral Home to assist the family with the arrangements.
