Jane Kochard Stetson, 89, of Florence, SC, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2015, at Laurel Gardens in Florence. Born in Reading, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Emily Longacre Kochard. Jane is predeceased by her parents, her husband Edgar Stetson, her son Douglas Stetson, two sisters Shirley Gable and Vivian Springer and two brothers George Kochard and Walter (Bud) Kochard. Jane was born in Reading PA. Over the years, she has lived in a number of cities, most recently Hilton Head Island, SC and Willow Spring NC. Jane's interests were quilting, counted cross stitch, New York Times crossword puzzles, doll house miniatures and her daily walk. She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Cydney and William Fennelly of Americus, GA; a daughter in law, Sheilah Stetson Davis of Hilton Head Island, SC; four grandchildren, Bradley Fennelly, Shannon Fennelly, Daniel Stetson and Rebecca (Stetson) Pressley and two great grandchildren, Stetson and Caroline Pressley. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, March 23, 2015, at Cain Funeral Home in Florence. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org/donate.
