Florence, SC James Harold Yates, 60, of Florence, S.C., died Sunday, March 8, 2015 at McLeod Regional Medical Center. He was born Ruleville, Mississippi, son of the late James Harold and Maxine Woods Yates. He is survived by his long-time friend, Merla Anderson of Florence, S.C.; two brothers, Mike Yates of Louisiana and Rodney Yates of Alabama. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
