James C. Melton, 58, of Darlington, SC, passed away on Friday, January 27, 2017, at McLeod Hospice House. Born in Whiteville, NC, he was the son of the late James Edward and Willa Mae Evans Melton. He is survived by his daughters, Christina Melton (Austin) Parks of Florence, and Kasey Melton (Brooks) Fickling of Columbia; two grandchildren; and his best friend, Ned Little of Darlington. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 PM on Monday, January 30, 2017, at the residence of his daughter, Christina and Austin Parks.
