A private memorial service for James Olin "Jimmy" Corbett, husband of Thelma Allen Corbett, will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Building Fund of Florence Baptist Temple, 2308 S. Irby Street, Florence, SC 29501. Mr. Corbett, 68, died Sunday January 31, 2010, in a local nursing home. He was born, February 14, 1941 in Florence, SC, to the late M. F. and Belle R Corbett, Sr. Mr. Corbett served in the US Army and was a retired employee of Horne Ford. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are: son, Jay Corbett of Florence; daughters, Susie Corbett and Victoria Griffin both of Columbia, SC; brother, M F Corbett Jr. of Florence; sister, Anna Coe of Darlington, SC.
