James "Jamie" Clarence White, Jr., of Effingham, S.C., died Thursday, January 31, 2013 at McLeod Regional Medical Center. He was born in Marion, S.C., a son of the late James Clarence White, Sr. and the late Margaret Brown White. He is survived by a son, James C. "Jim" White III (Brandi) of Pawleys Island, S.C.; a brother, Howell White (Sarah) of Marion, S.C.; a sister, Gwen Fields of Florence, S.C.;four nephews, Brent Snipes, Bruce Snipes, Kenny White and Keith White; two nieces, Shannon Jacobs and Shelley White; Brother-In-Law; William "Billy" D. Fields; A very special friend, Jeania Horton of Effingham, S.C.; his extended family, Donna and Michael Greene of Lancaster, S.C.; Maddie Greene, Meredith Steele of Rock Hill, S.C.; grandson, Austin Steele; granddaughter, Anna Steele; extended cousins, Ed, Donald, and Betty Yoder; A funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at 12:00 P.M. at Cain Funeral Home.
