Jackie Edward Goodwin, 67, of Timmonsville, died Thursday, January 19, 2012 in Florence, SC. He was born July 29, 1944 in Laurinburg, NC to John Clyde and Dorothy Marie Goodwin. Jackie was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Nell Goodwin, his father, John Clyde Goodwin, Sr., his mother, Dorothy Marie Goodwin, and his son, George E. "Gene" Hatfield. Survivors include: Brother - John Clyde Goodwin Jr. of Cheraw; sister - Roxie Goodwin Ford of Gibson, NC; 3 sons - Jackie Edward Goodwin Jr. of Phoenix, AZ, Lloyd W. "Buck" Hatfield of Timmonsville, James T. "Ted" Hatfield of Florence; 3 daughters - Terrie Lynn Shealy of Timmonsville, Rhonda Player of Florence, Cappie Lisa Coss of Nashville, TN; 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 21, 2012, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Cain Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Sunday, January 22, 2012, at 12:00 PM at Cain Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
