Florence, S.C. Jack Edwin Robertson, 68, (USN Retired), of Florence, S.C., died Thursday, December 20, 2012 at McLeod Regional Medical Center. Jack was born in Florence, S.C., a son of the late James Wilton and Claudia Witherspoon Robertson. He served his country in the United States Navy and retired with 22 years of service. He was a Charter Member of Highland United Methodist Church. Jack had many friends and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Hopkins Robertson of Florence, S.C.; one son, Jack Edwin Robertson, Jr. (Amy) of Tampa, Florida; a daughter, Lynn Robertson Turner (Glenn) of Florence, S.C.; step-daughter, Jennifer Lee Owens (Brad) of Florence, S.C.; two sisters, Betty R. McBride of Melbourne, Florida; Billie R. Finklea of Florence, S.C.; two brothers, James W. Robertson, Jr. (Joye) of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; Thomas C. Robertson (Faye) of Stedman, N.C.; three grandchildren, Blake Turner of Florence, S.C. and Savanna and McKenzie Robertson, both of Tampa, Florida; six nieces and two nephews. The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 26, 2012 from 6-8:00 P.M. at Cain Funeral Home. A graveside service with full military honors will be held Thursday, December 27, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. in Florence National Cemetery directed by Cain Funeral Home.
