Ira Louis Shaffer, 63, of Florence, SC, passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2025.  He was born in Lorain, OH, a son of the late Roy and Magdalen Brazman Shaffer.  He is also predeceased by a sister, Betty Shaffer and two brothers, Paul Shaffer and Roy Shaffer.

Ira was a kind-hearted soul.  He always put other's interests before his own and would always selflessly lend a hand to help others.  Ira had a live long interest in mechanics, construction and landscaping, which is how he made his living.

Ira is survived by his brothers, Robert Shaffer (Diane) and David Shaffer (Chris); his sister, Mary Lee (Steve); and a number of nieces and nephews.

Cremation services have been entrusted to Cain Calcutt Funeral Home.
