Imogene Cox Turner, 89, wife of the late William E. "Billy" Turner, Sr., passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2018 after an extended illness.  Ms. Turner was born in Horry County, a daughter of the late H. Baker and Lessie Register Cox.  She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church since 1950.  She retired from Home Health Care (DHEC) in Lake City.  She loved to cook and bake and often carried cakes to the sick in church and neighbors.  She loved to work in her yard and loved flowers.  She cared for everyone and loved her family and neighbors.

She is survived by two sons, William E "Ed" Turner, Jr. and Larry D. Turner; four grandchildren, Kyle Turner, Brandon Turner, Lila Dodson and Zack Turner; and ten great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3 PM on Friday, December 28, 2018 in the chapel of Cain Calcutt Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 2-3 PM prior to the services at the funeral home.
