Mr. Hillie Benjamin "Ben" Carroll, 66, died May 10, 2010, at his residence in Kingstree, SC. He was born November 2, 1943 in Charleston, SC, to the late Hillie C. and Ruby Bowles Carroll. Assisting the family is Cain Funeral Home of Florence. Mr. Carroll was a barber for over 30 years and had owned Forest Lake Barber Shop in Florence. He also attended Scranton Pentecostal Holiness Church. Survivors include: sister, Patricia Hughes of Kingstree, SC; brothers, Billy Carroll of Dotham, AL, Buddy Carroll of Kingstree, SC, and Kenneth Carroll of Loraine, OH; nephews, Ray Eaddy Jr., and Anthony Saunders; wife, Rachel Carroll of Darlington and several nieces and nephews.
