A graveside service for Henry Wilson James will be at 11:00AM Wednesday February 24, 2010 in Palmetto Memorial Gardens, Marion conducted by Rev. Dr. David Wike. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00PM Tuesday February 23 at Cain Funeral Home, Florence. Memorials may be made to Ebenezer Baptist Church Building Fund, 524 S. Ebenezer Road, Florence, SC 29501. Mr. James, 64, died Saturday February 20, 2010, at his residence. He was born May 17, 1945 in Mullins, SC to Woodrow W. and Nina Turbeville James, Sr. He was also predeceased by sister, Betty Lou Brewer. Mr. James graduated from Mullins High School and Columbia Commercial College. He worked for the City of Columbia 35 years, retiring in 2006 as Records Technician. He was a member and Deacon of First Baptist Church, Columbia. Surviving are: brothers, Woodrow W. (Gale) James Jr. of Florence and George L. (Pat) James of Limestone, ME and a number of nieces and nephews and a host of friends in Columbia.
