Helen Collins Sweat, 79, of Florence, formerly of Charleston SC, passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2020.  She was born in Florence, a daughter of the late Willard E. and Virlie Collins Collins.  In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Bobby Sweat, and two children, Don Christmas and Kathy Marie Leath.

Helen was a member of Community Free Will Baptist Church.  She lived in Charleston all of her life and moved to Florence after retirement from Rite-Aid.

She is survived by a son, Rusty Christmas; grandchildren, Allen (Alicia) Christmas, Hannah Christmas, Victoria (Derek) Lainhart and Caitlin Evans; two step-sons, Johnny Sweat and Bobby Sweat, Jr.; brother, Kenny (Denise) Collins; sister, Pat Lee; and two nieces, Melissa Lee and Darlene Sheppard.

A family-led memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM  on Sunday, August 23, 2020  at Community Free Will Baptist Church.  Cain Calcutt Funeral Home is honored to serve the Sweat family.
