Hannah Maelee Collins

Hannah, age 22, of Florence, SC, passed away on November 2, 2025.

Born August 12, 2003, in Florence, SC, Hannah was the cherished daughter of Brian and Donna Collins. She brought light to everyone she met with quick wit and her infectious laugh.

Hannah graduated from Wilson High School in 2021. She worked with autistic kids at McLeod and loved crocheting, musicals, and reading. With a passion for writing, she stirred emotions with her stories. She will be remembered for her dedication to being kind and willingness to give and help. She was unbelievably smart and talented, speaking fluent German, making blankets, clothes, and characters out of yarn, and being creative with her style and personal expression. Her unforgettable personality touched the lives of everyone around her.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grand-mother, Beulah Sellers.

Surviving in addition to her parents are her two siblings, Harley Collins and Haven (Jeremy) Cox; maternal grandfather, Danny Sellars; paternal grandmother, Rebecca Norton; nephew, Kolton Cox; and special cousins, Alexis Locklear, Victoria Moore and Olivia Locklear.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, in the Calcutt-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel. The family will speak to those in attendance immediately following the services.
