Florence, SC Gloria Jean Nelson, 74, of Florence, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at her residence. Mrs. Nelson was born in Dover, NJ, a daughter of the late George and Margaret Counterman Bell. She enjoyed baking, cooking, ceramics, traveling, and most of all, spending time with her family. Surviving are her loving husband of 26years, AC Nelson, a son, Robert (Liz) Huffman of Florence; three daughters, Patricia Marsh and Geraldine Nelson both of Florence and Debra Huffman of NJ; a brother, Charles Bell of NJ; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 in the chapel of Cain-Calcutt-Stephens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the services until 8:00 PM.
