Obituary

Glena Thurlene Stilley, 89, of Florence SC passed away peacefully at her home on Friday February 12th, 2021. She was born August 16, 1931 in Trinity NC and was the daughter of the late Helen Thompson Dudley and the late Edward Dudley. Mrs. Stilley was a long-time active member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed time spent with family and friends either camping at the lake or relaxing at Myrtle Beach. She also enjoyed her time playing cards and having lunch with her friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband Marvin A. (Jack) Stilley; sisters Betty Amick and Donaree Jones; and brother Ted Thompson.

She is survived by a brother, Glenn Thompson; two daughters, Kathy (Bernie) Bottoms and Karen Stilley; son Joey (Tracy) Stilley; grandchildren Angie (Scott) Schaefer and Chris (Tiffany) Bottoms; great-grandchildren Logan, Luke, Emie, Chandler, Gabriel, and Deacon; brother and sister-in-law James & Sara Stilley; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service directed by Cain Calcutt Funeral Home will be held on Saturday February 20, 2021 at 2:00PM at Floral Garden Park Cemetery in High Point NC.  Due to Covid-19, social distancing and masks are requested.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Immanuel Baptist Church, 306 W. Cherokee Rd. Florence SC 29501 or Agape Hospice, 1929 Mountain Laurel Ct. Florence SC 29505.
