TIMMONSVILLE, S.C. Gladys McClam Vause, 86, of Timmonsville, S.C., died Saturday, November 29, 2014 at her residence. She was born in Florence, S.C., daughter of the late Mottie M. and Ella Miles McClam. Mrs. Gladys was a member of Bethany Free Will Baptist Church where she was a member of the Grainger Circle. She loved working in her yard and cooking for her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be missed by all that knew her. She is predeceased by her parents, husband, Keith Vause, one son, Mack Vause, and one grandson, Eddie Collins, two brothers and four sisters. She is survived by two daughters, Sonja Pier of Timmonsville, S. C.; Faye Avin (Ricky) of Florence, S.C.; one daughter-in-law, Pat Vause of Timmonsville, S.C.; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a special niece, Shirley Ann Cooksey (J.W.). Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at 3:00 P.M. at Bethany Free Will Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Bethany Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery directed by Cain Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2-3:00 P.M. prior to the service at the church.
