Gladys Lavinia Eckleberry, 75, of Pamplico, SC, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2015 at MUSC. Gladys was born in Lake City, SC a daughter of the late Talmage Andrew and Madie Watford McCutcheon. She was a member of The Order of the Eastern Star and the White Shrine. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and was an avid collector and seller, who love gardening and antiquing. She is preceded in death in addition to her parents by two brothers, Talmage Lavon McCutcheon and Larry McCutcheon. Surviving are her loving husband of 56 years, Clarence "Eck" Eckleberry; four children, Debra (Hank) Bumgardner of Wichita, KS, Robert Eckleberry of Fairfield, IL, George (Linda) Eckleberry of West Salem, IL, Doris (Dennis) Lane of Cisne, IL; ten grandchildren, fourteen Great grandchildren ; two great-great grandchildren; four brothers, William Joe (Shirley) McCutcheon, Don (Carol) McCutcheon, Jimmy McCutcheon, and Robert Neil (Brenda) McCutcheon all of Virginia; a sister-in-law, Wilma McCutcheon of Virginia; and a number of nieces, nephews, and extended family members. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Cain Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at a later date in Fairfield, IL directed by Nale's Funeral Home.
