DARLINGTON - A graveside service for Mrs. Geraldine Amerson Fisher, wife of the late James Lemuel Fisher, Sr., will be Saturday, February 5, 2011, at 2:00 pm, at Florence Memorial Gardens Cemetery, conducted by the Rev. Glenn Carter. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 4, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Cain Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to McLeod Hospice, PO Box 100551, Florence, SC 29502. Mrs. Fisher, 66, died January 30, 2011, at her residence in Darlington. She was born August 2, 1944, in Florence, SC, to Carl Amerson and Pauline Goodson Amerson. She was predeceased by her husband, parents, adoptive mother, Jeanette Ruthven; brother, Randy Strickland; and a dog, Shadow. Survivors include: daughters, Jeanette Fisher, and Pamela J. Fuller; sons, James L. (Linda) Fisher, Jr, and Kelly C. (Melinda) Fisher Sr.; sisters, Doris Ann Jackson, Vivian Perkins, Betty L. Powell, Loretta (Gary) Boggs, and Vendetta (Donnie) Chapman; brothers, Eddie Carl Amerson, and Butch Amerson; grandchildren, Kassandra E. (Tim) McGarry, Kacey L. Fisher, and Kelly L.
