Mrs. Georgia Adams Mauney, 83, died August 9, 2009, in a local healthcare facility after an illness. Mrs. Mauney is predeceased by her husband Thomas Morgan Mauney, and her parents. Survivors include: daughters, Dora Joann Robinson of North Myrtle Beach, SC, Mary Jane Sims of OH, and J.J. Grissett of North Myrtle Beach, SC; sister Lucille Hartley of Lexington, NC; 5 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
