George Michael "Mike" Thompkins, 57, of Florence, SC, passed away on Monday, February 15, 2021.  He was born in Florence, SC, a son of Elwood Richardson Evans and the late William McLaurin Thompkins, Sr.  He is also predeceased by a brother, Ernest Steven Thompkins, and a sister, Lois Thompkins Altman.

Mike was the owner/operator of TNT Printing Company.  He loved hunting and fishing in McBee and the Pee Dee Rivers.  He loved camping with his family, working on his father's truck and he always felt that the Great Smoky Mountains was his 2nd home.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Carmen Lynn Jackson Thompkins; his mother, Elwood Evans and his step-father, Winston; daughter, Tori Nicole Thompkins; brother, William McLaurin Thompkins, Jr. (Cynthia); brother-in-law, JR Altman; two nephews, Nick Altman and Buddy Thompkins (Ashley); niece, Crystal Atkinson (Josh); two great-nieces, Kingsley Atkinson and Arden Ann Thompkins; one great-nephew, Reece Atkinson; and his faithful canine companion, Harley Quinn.

A private service will be held at a later date.  Cain Calcutt Funeral Home is honored to serve the Thompkins family.
