George Henry Gagne, 82, of Florence, SC, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 1, 2020. He was born on April 12, 1938, in Quebec City, P.Q. Canada. The youngest of twelve children he was preceded in death by his parents George Laurier Henry Gagne and Bernadette Bouchard Gagne.

He graduated from St. Patrick's High School in 1958.  He migrated to the United States in 1959 to follow his dream of becoming an American citizen.  He was a veteran of the Korean War while serving in the U.S. Army.

He lived in Florida the majority of his life where he worked as a Master Electrician before moving to South Carolina in 2013.

He is survived by his only child, George Gagne II and former spouse of 25 years Eileen Armao.

He will forever be remembered by his caring and loving Son, extended family and friends including Dorothy Duncan, Dolores McCall & her son James McCall and Cathy & Eugene Robinson.

A service will be performed at the Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.    Cain Calcutt Funeral Home is honored to assist the Gagne family.
