George Allen Calcutt, 57, of Florence, SC, died on Friday, December 20, 2013, after a long battle with cancer. Allen was born in Florence, SC, a son of the late George W. and Edna Mae Powell Calcutt. He is predeceased by his parents and a sister, Shelby Calcutt. Allen was a Master Mason, an avid Gamecock fan and hunter. He was formerly employed with Lance Crackers and Rental Uniform as a truck driver. George is survived by his wife, Jenna Weaver Calcutt; a daughter, Georgia Addyson Calcutt; sisters, Jane Jordan and Edna Joyce (Rudy) Hearne; and a host of nieces, nephews, and special and dear friends. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Monday, December 23, 2013, at Florence Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel with visitation immediately following the service and other times will be at the home of Mrs. Jane Jordan. In lieu of flowers, a love offering may be made for his daughter, Georgia Addyson Calcutt, c/o Mrs. Jane Jordan, 2720 Swinney Dr., Florence, SC 29501.
