Gayle Fowler Robertson, 85, of the Bethea Retirement Community, passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at the McLeod Regional Medical Center.  Ms. Robertson was born in Mullins, SC, the daughter of the late Thumon and Pansy Blanton Fowler.  She received her bachelor's degree from Winthrop and later her master's degree from Francis Marion.  She taught at Florence Darlington Tech, served as the Head Mistress at Byrnes Academy for 12 years and ended her career in education by teaching classes at Poyner Adult Ed.  Ms. Robertson was a faithful member of Central UMC, where so loved to volunteer her time.  She was a member of the Red Hat Club and loved travelling, shopping, animals of all types and a good glass of wine.

She is preceded in death in addition to her parents by her husband, Thomas Robertson, a son, Kyle Robertson, and a sister-in-law, Sandi Fowler.

Surviving are a son, Brennan Robertson (Robin Snapp); daughter-in-law, Krista M. Robertson; grandchildren, Savannah Jane Robertson Mac-Solden (Eric), Devan Cessna, Brianna Williams (Dustyn) and Olivia Cessna; great-grandchildren, Kaydan Warner and Ashtyn Williams; brothers, Ronald Fowler and Thurmon "T.C." Fowler; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A church led memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at Central UMC.  Private inurnment will follow in the church columbarium.  Cain Calcutt funeral honor is honored to serve the Robertson Family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Florence Area Humane Society.
