Frances Murdock Turner Foxworth, 94, of Florence, passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2014. Mrs. Foxworth was born in Florence County, a daughter of the late K. Leroy and Laurie Cannon Turner. She was a homemaker and a self-employed seamstress. She was a charter member of Calvary Baptist Church, where she was in the Women's Circle Club, taught the eight year old Sunday School Class, and was instrumental in the Clothes Closet Program at the church. She is preceded in death in addition to her parents by her husband, Ernest E. Foxworth, Sr. and five siblings, Charlotte T. Grady, Elise T. Davis, Robert Turner, Waverly "Buck" Turner, and Kelly Tuner. Surviving are four children, Ernest E. (Linda) Foxworth, Jr. of Ft. Myers, FL, Sara F. Zini of Asheville, NC, James Preston (Stormie) Foxworth, Sr. and Ruth F. (Tony) Blackburn both of Florence; nine grandchildren, Gayle Foxworth of Ft. Myers, FL, Christopher Foxworth of Broken Arrow, OK, Tami Kranz, Rhonda Fritts, and Ronald B. Hatchell, Jr. all of Columbia, Brian Blackburn and Amy Blackburn both of Florence, Tara Parker of Charleston, and James Preston Foxworth, Jr, of Florence; fourteen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and a number of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2-3 PM on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 prior to the service at 3PM in the Florence Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel.
