Frances Louise Thames, 90, of Florence, SC, died Monday, January 28, 2013, at McLeod Regional Medical Center. She was born in Cheraw, SC, a daughter of the late William Evander and Mary Elizabeth McCall Summerford. Mrs. Thames was a charter member of College Park Baptist Church in Florence, SC. She was dedicated to her children and she loved the Lord. She is predeceased by her parents and her husband, Carlisle Thames, Sr. Mrs. Thames is survived by four children, Dale Bryan of Florence, SC; Carlisle "Buddy" Thames, Jr. (Sharon) of Florence, SC; Donny Thames of Greensboro, NC; Michael Thames (Cecelia) of Florence, SC; two grandchildren, T.J. Thames and Mary Frances Thames; and one great grandchild, Bentley Johnson. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 31, 2013, at Cain Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 1, 2013, at Cain Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery, directed by Cain Funeral Home.
