Frances Howle Morrison, 81, of Florence, died Saturday, December 31, 2011 in Florence, SC. She was born February 21, 1930 in Hartsville, SC to the late Russell A. and Mamie L. Howle. Frances was a member of Dawsey United Methodist Church were she was recently honored for her many years of faithful service to the church and it's ministries. She was also active with the Florence Wive's of the Deceased Veterans group. Mrs. Morrison was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Joseph Luther Morrison. Survivors include: sons - Mike (Terrie) Morrison of Lexington, Randy (Vickie) Morrison and Steve (fiance' Terri Smith) Morrison both of Florence; sisters - Jean Gandy and Joy Gainey both of Hartsville, Wanda Wilkes of Murrells Inlet, and Brenda Manning of Wasilla, AK; grandchildren - Angie (Charli) Graham, Kristi (Brant) Hutchinson, Angela (Joe) Nates and Ansley Morrison; and 4 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, January 2, 2012, at Cain Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at 3:00 pm at New Market United Methodist Church Cemetery in Hartsville.
