Frances Virginia Garner Taylor, 92, of the Bethea Home in Darlington, SC, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2016 at the McLeod Regional Medical Center. She was born in Union County, SC, an only child of the late Louis Leo and Mattie Gertrude Barnett Garner. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Otho Gordon Taylor who passed away in 2004. She was a Top Sales Agent for many years in the Real Estate Industry and formerly attended Northgate Baptist Church . She later became a member of the Bethea Baptist Home Church and loved cross stitching. She was a devoted wife of 62 years and a loving mother and grandmother. She supported, respected and loved her family unconditionally. She loved to laugh. She never complained even as her health deteriorated. Mrs. Taylor was a lady of strong faith, believing in the power and strength of Jesus Christ's love and the beauty and peace that would await her after her passing. The family would like to thank the Bethea Retirement Home Family and those who cared for her during her last illness. We were blessed to learn many valuable lessons from her during her 92 years. We will miss her dearly. Surviving are two daughters, Teresa Paul of Collinsac, SC and Kathy (Rob) Lee of Ooltewah, TN; seven grandchildren, Zachary (Molly) Paul, Brandon Paul, Whitney, Casey and Holly Thompson, Ashley Brooks, and Lauren (Phil) Cade; five great-grandchildren, Chloe, Keily, Kyra, and Quincy Thompson and Leo Paul. A family led memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 23, 2016 in the Bethea Baptist Home Chapel. The family will receive friends immediately following the services. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Bethea Baptist Home.
