Florence, SC Frances Evelyn Gore Fraley, 83, of Florence, SC, died on Thursday, August 28, 2014, at Pruitt Health in Dillon, SC after an illness. Born in Tabor City, NC, she was the daughter of the late Carrie and Samuel E. Gore. Evelyn is predeceased by, in addition to her parents, her husband, Victor V. Fraley, and two sisters, Patricia Collins and Rachael Williamson. Evelyn loved her Lord Jesus and enjoyed listening to music. She was a member of Highland Park United Methodist Church in Florence. Evelyn loved her family and friends. She is survived by five children; sons, Stephen V. (Angie) Fraley of Cropwell, AL, and Christopher Mark Fraley of Florence, SC; daughters Pamela S. (Burt) Palmer, Anita Gaye Armstrong, and Kathryn L. (Ben) Cooper, all of Florence, SC; grandchildren, Donald J. Roberts, Jr. of Hartsville, Erin N. McDaniel of Johnsonville, Jeffery Cooper of Florence, Amanda Cooper of Charleston, Corey Cooper of Florence, William Armstrong and Adam Armstrong of Bishopville, Christopher Mark Fraley, II, of Florence and Chase Fraley of Cropwell, AL; a sister, Roberta Gore Harris of Tabor City, NC; and nine great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 30, 2014, from 4:00 until 6:00 PM at Cain Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 31, 2014, at 1:30 PM at Highland Park UMC with burial to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery.
