A graveside service for Faye Carlisle, wife of Don Carlisle, will be at 3:00PM Saturday September 4, 2010 in Mt Hope Cemetery conducted by Rev. Donnie Miles. The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service. Memorials may be made to Community Care Hospice, 805 N. 8th Ave., Dillon, SC 29536. Mrs. Carlisle, 66, died Friday September 3, 2010, at her residence. She was born April 24, 1944 in Eustis, FL to the late John Luther and Eunice Mae Lang Dempsey. She was also predeceased by brothers, John and Harrison Dempsey. She was full of life, always putting others first and the best mother and wife in the world. She was a Christian lady who loved cooking and gardening. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are: daughters, Suzanne R. (Chris) Anderson, Glenda F.. (Tracy) Galloway and Brenda Strickland all of Florence; grandchildren, Donnie and Tearra Galloway and Trey, Tanya and Casey Strickland ; brothers, Roy Dempsey and Jimmy Dempsey of Leesburg, FL, Virgil Dempsey of Clermont, FL and Bobby Dempsey of Deltona, Fl ; sisters, Reba Carter of Umatilla, FL, Ann Campbell of Tavares, FL, Theresa Glomb of Leesburg, FL and Sue McKay of Kalamazoo, MI; grand dogs, Jasmine, Crickett, Rocky and Lady Bug.
