A graveside service for Eunice Colene McDaniels, widow of Atha Nomer McDaniels, will be at 11AM Monday May 18, 2009, in Devotional Gardens Cemetery, Hwy 76, Mullins, conducted by the Rev. Bobby Byrd. The family will receive friends tonight from 6:00-8:00PM at Cain Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to McLeod Hospice, PO Box 100551, Florence, SC. 29502-0551. Mrs. McDaniels, 86, died Friday May 15, 2009, in McLeod Hospice House. She was born, January 1, 1923 in Horry County, SC, to the late Samuel and Lillie Hardwick Suggs. She was predeceased by a son, Jerry and a brother, JC Suggs. Mrs. McDaniels was retired from Marion Memorial Hospital. Surviving are: daughters, Patricia (J.W.) King, Jackie (Carthon) Yarborough, Gale (Woody) James, and Joyce Greene all of Florence; sons, Billy (Judy) McDaniels and Alex Marshall (Doris) McDaniels both of Marion, and Ellis (Ola Mae) McDaniels of Townville, SC; sister, Mary Lucille Lewis of Florence, SC; eleven grandchildren; several great and great-great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. The family wishes a special thanks to all the staff of Southland Healthcare, McLeod Hospital and McLeod Hospice House for there love and care in our time of need.
