Florence, SC Eugenia Sherman Wilcox, 79, of Florence, SC, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2016, at McLeod Hospice House. She was born in Mineola, New York, a daughter of the late Homer and Helen Plopper Sherman. She is also predeceased by her husband, John R. Wilcox. She worked as a private duty nurse for many companies in Cooperstown, NY. She is survived by two daughters, Lori Wells of Cooperstown, NY, and Cindi (David) Chapman Hudson of Florence, SC; two sons, Michael Chapman of Sumter, SC, and Chris (Deborah) Chapman of Timmonsville, SC; ten grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren and a sister, Elizabeth Sherman Griffiths of Sylvan Beach, NY. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 18, 2016, at the Florence National Cemetery, directed by Cain Calcutt-Stephens Funeral Home.
