Eugene Kelly Wayland, 64, of Florence, SC, left this world and entered his heavenly home on Saturday, February 19, 2022.   He was born in Charlotte, NC a son of the late Ernest Eugene Wayland and Mary Sue Kelly.  Surviving is his foster mother, Mary Hoffmeyer, 2 sisters, Karen Anderson (Alex) and Kathy Jones (Jim) and several nieces and nephews.  Kelly was known for his love of wrestling, racing and riding his bicycle around the neighborhood.  He was a great brother, a sweet soul and will be greatly missed.  Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at Tabernacle United Methodist Church Cemetery, directed by Cain Calcutt Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 PM at the funeral home just prior to the service.
