"Ms. Ethel Mae Bailey Tyler was born on December 7, 1922 in Florence, SC, to Matthew Bailey and Channie Bailey Wingate. She died on Thursday, June 9, 2016, surrounded by her beloved children and grandchildren. She was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on November 30, 1963 and served her God Jehovah faithfully for 53 years until her death. She was preceded in death by her father, Matthew Bailey, and mother Channie Wingate; sister Elizabeth Bailey and a daughter, Diane Tyler Godbolt. She is survived by four daughters, Gladys L. Williams (Haskell) and Patricia A. Tyler, of Florence, Beverley Jean Tyler and Pamela P. Tyler, of Columbia, SC; two sons, Henry Tyler of Florence, SC and Ronald Tyler (Sandra) of Columbia, SC; seventeen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and five great-great children, four generations".
