Ethel P. Perkins, 62, of Effingham, passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at MUSC of Florence.  Mrs. Perkins was born in Florence, SC, a daughter of George Pattillo and the late Lavera Timmons Pattillo.  She is survived in addition to her father by her loving husband of 28 years, Jesse Thomas Perkins Jr; 4 children, David Bruce Perkins, Timothy Daniel (Kara) Perkins, Jessica Leigh Perkins and Jacob Randall Perkins; 4 step-children, Robert Lee Perkins, Jesse Thomas Perkins, III, Angela Marie (Michael) Perdue and Leslie Perkins (Dennis) Bullard; 8 grandchildren; 3 great- grandchildren; and 2 brothers.  Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at the Florence National Cemetery directed by Cain Calcutt Funeral Home.
