Ervin McCutcheon, 69, of Effingham, S.C., died Friday, November 13, 2015 at his residence. He was born in Florence, S.C. a son of the late Thomas McLeod and Frances Floyd McCutcheon. Ervin is predeceased by his parents and three brothers. He is survived by his wife, Retha Evans McCutcheon of Effingham, S.C.; three children, Dewayne McCutcheon of Timmonsville, S.C.; Jeanne (Dan) Tedder of Timmonsville, S.C.; Joshua McCutcheon of Effingham, S.C.; three brothers, John, Daniel and David McCutcheon; three sisters, Beth Clemmons, Clarice Tedder and Janice O'Neil; two grandchildren, Dana Tedder and Fallen Tedder; his faithful companion "Midnight". A memorial service will be held Monday, November 16, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Cain-Calcutt-Stephens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 P.M. prior to the service.
