Emmie Euline Baggott, 81, of Florence, SC, died on Sunday, March 23, 2014, at McLeod Hospice House in Florence. She was born in Florence County, a daughter of the late Whiteford Liston and Mary Elizabeth Turner Purvis. She is predeceased by her husband, Buel Baggott. Surviving are her daughter, Margarette Barber of Laurinburg, NC; her son, Gus George "GG" and Linda Jo Cottros, III of Fredericktown, Missouri; two sisters, Minnie Humphries and Lillian Bigelow, both of Florence; grandson, Tad (Marti) Cottros of Charlotte, NC; granddaughter, Christiane Locklear of Laurel Hill, NC; six great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Cain Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 26, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 27, 2014, at Unity Baptist Church on Pamplico Highway in Florence. Burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens, directed by Cain Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to McLeod Hospice House of Florence, SC.
