Elorie Elizabeth Broach Weaver Blalock, 85, of Lamar, SC, passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at McLeod Hospice House.  She was born in Florence, a daughter of the late Sam and Pauline Friar Broach.  In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her first husband, Max Weaver, and her second husband, Carol Blalock; two sons, William Weaver and Paul Weaver; her daughter, Ellen Weaver Marlowe; and a great-grandchild, Keaton Mack.

Mrs. Blalock was a member of Tabernacle United Methodist Church in Pamplico and was retired from GE of Florence.  She was a member of Delmae Ruritan Club and Tops Club of Florence.  She loved gardening, fishing, traveling, reading and yard-sales.

Surviving is her son, Jimmy Weaver (Maria), grandchildren, April Weaver Mack (Melvin), Candace Weaver Paige, Joseph Marlowe, John Marlowe (Faith), Paullet Weaver Maleckar (Sean), Heather Weaver Cribb and Kristin Weaver; and a brother, Billy Broach (Frances).

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, July 9, 2022 in the Cain Calcutt Funeral Home chapel.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service, from 2:00 until 3:00 PM.  Burial will follow at 4:00 PM in the Florence Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tabernacle United Methodist Church.
