A funeral service for Mrs. Elizabeth "Lib" Gerald Winchester, wife of W. B. Winchester, will be at 11:00AM, Thursday, September 25, 2008, at Effingham Presbyterian Church conducted by Rev. Brian Howard. Internment will follow at Florence National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00PM tonight at Cain Funeral Home. The family suggests memorials be made to the Effingham Presbyterian Church 816 E Effingham Hwy, Effingham, SC 29541. Mrs. Winchester, 81, of Florence, died Tuesday, September 23, 2008, in a local nursing center. She was born May 22, 1927, in Florence to the late Levy and Louise Rose Gerald. She was a member of Effingham Presbyterian Church, and a member of the Professional Secretary Association. Surviving, in addition to her husband of 57 years, are: son, Billy (Donna) Winchester of Florence; daughter, Susan (Eric) Laessig of Elizabeth , CO; granddaughters, Andi Graham, Brooke Laessig, Megan Winchester; and a sister, Dorothy House of Plymouth, NC, An online guest register is on the obituaries page at www.cainfh.com.
